HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR YARN

All dyes will fade over time (including synthetic dyes). To slow down this, naturally dyed fibres and in particular yarn that has no superwash treatment, should be hand washed in cool water, with minimal agitation, and followed by line drying (away from direct sunlight).

Always use a mild, neutral detergent, as some dyes are especially sensitive to changes in PH, meaning they could change colour in acid or alkali conditions.

Botanically hand dyed yarns will never be exactly the same, even yarns included within the same pot. For this reason it is advised to alternate them while knitting or crocheting to avoid drastic differences in colours (unless that is the effect you’re aiming for).

While every effort is made to portray products accurately, please keep in mind that different screen monitors may reproduce colours differently to the actual yarn colours.
